Howdy guys! Its been less than 2 weeks I started looking for a new job as a developer here in India. My resume has the usual stuff what a .NET developer (sensible one!) might have. One extra thing was added by me regarding my personal projects, iPhone sdk. Since the last 2 weeks, guess what kind of requirements I saw the most, from several companies here. Yup, iPhone development. iPhone is being considered as The Mobile Platform of the future and every company, whether a gallactico or a minion, are hiring iPhone developers.

this is Amey Karekar.I am 2009 IT fresher looking for a job as IPhone developer.As you said in you blog about IPhone sdk, is it available on the internet? is objective -c has any resemblance with .net as i am also working on .net form 6-8 months, not as an employee but as a student, i ve few projects on .net in my CV .what are requirements to use that sdk on your computer.

Hey,
iPhone sdk is available on the internet at http://developer.apple.com/iphone/. You need to do a free registration to get an apple ID. First off, you need to have a Macintosh machine :).
Objective-C is object oriented but does not have much resemblance with .NET. It is quite different syntactically too, but it is a lot more fun to debug and run iPhone apps in the iPhone simulator which is part of the sdk. To debug and install apps on your iPhone device, you need to be a paid member of the apple developer program.
